I won’t be returning

Liked: Easy parkingView from the garden
Disliked: Room 14 noisy generator outside, unable to have the window open due to noise (extremely hot weather )really messy view of rubbish and dead plants Noisy Deliveries outside window at 7 am hence worse nights sleep ever Worse evening meal I have experienced during my many visits here ,no discount applied even though I was a guest at the hotel , I gave up trying to sort this as staff were so busy ,I gave up .

Good position.

Liked: Dinner was good. Wine glasses could be cleaner. Staff good. Bar ambience made tacky with slot machine. Cheltenham’s environs deserves something more classy.
Disliked: See above

Definitely would not recommend it...

Liked: Nice view but couldn’t go outside from bar had to walk around the back to get to the front garden
Disliked: Wi-Fi was not good and unsecured. The TV did not work. The food both breakfast and dinner was not what I’d call good English pub food.

Very good

Liked: Food and drink was great value and the service was very good. Good sized bathroom. Free car parking.
Disliked: Noisy air-conditioning unit next to my room.

Passable

Liked: The beds were comfortable
Disliked: We found an insect repellent in our bed which made us feel uncomfortable sleeping under the covers in the bed so we slept on top of the covers. The shower connector didnt work as we couldn’t lift it as too stiff so we wasn’t able to have a shower. The room is very tired, floorboards creek all over, we also couldn’t open one of the windows and it was 30 degrees heat.

Liked: Breakfast great choice and very good hot selection. Fantastic views.
Disliked: WiFi was a bit hit and miss

Liked: Breakfast and meals in the restaurant were very good. Extensive menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful.The view from the room was outstanding.
Disliked: The tv reception in the room was not great. Most tv channels were unwatchable.

Disliked: lots of stairs, our room was level with car park, bar and breakfast room were down 2 flights of stairs.
