Great location with a friendly...

Liked: Great choice of breakfast in a very pleasant room with great views over Cheltenham.
Disliked: All good although breakfast finished quite early for a hotel that gives a much later check out time.

Exceptional

Having walked the Cotsworld Way...

Liked: Having a kettle with coffee & tea in the bedroom is a definite plus.The menu was very good as it had lots of good choices.. Food was very nice. And sitting outside while having a meal looking out at the beautiful view was a definite plus.
Disliked: Breakfast was not good. Pastries were dry. Waitress not too friendly. Bread was dry. Everything on display looked "old" and it was expensive for what I got.

Liked: Excellent views overlooking the valley. Evening meal of an acceptable standard for money and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The room had poor facilities. That would not have been acceptable going back to the 1970’sI could not have a shower or bath because there was only very hot water available. This represented a health and safety issue and I reported to the management. The room was very poor value for money at £165. I thought I booked a Single Room and was given a very small room with a double bed. It was clean and walls were acceptable but the carpet was disgusting with contaminated spots here and there. Bathroom was clean but with poor facilities. Overall very disappointed. If my stay had been longer I would have demanded a better room or left. I have been ripped off and suggested you remove the hotel from your web site.

Overall amazing value for money

Liked: Great location, stunning views with amazing sunset. Good breakfast and dinner options with lots of vegan choices too.
Disliked: The cleaning was good overall with a couple of minor omissions but nothing detrimental.

Liked: The staff, the quality of service, the quality of food and tue exceptional views from the Hotel!!
Disliked: Furniture and interior fittings are a bit outdated, but that still didn’t affect our stay!

Disliked: The only thing I could say is with the weather we've had the bathrooms did not need to be as hot as they were.
