Better than average with hot...

Liked: Nice Hot tub was working this time but closes at 9:00 p.m. too bad. Room was nice 2nd floor but had balcony.Breakfast is all carbs And only open 7:30 to 9:30, but ok & has u do waffles.
Disliked: See aboveParking is very crowded.

We enjoyed a dual birthday...

Liked: We enjoyed the hot tub and the little outdoor seating area with the jar fountain.
Disliked: We were unable to check in at 4:05 p.m. because our room was not ready. Also, since there is no AC, a ceiling fan would have been good.

Affordable. But expect minimal frills

Liked: The price is reasonable considering it is so close to the beach
Disliked: They do not clean the room for each day of your stay. At least changing the towels and straightening out the beds. Would be decent. To stay more than one day and not have that amenity is disappointing. Just the little perks of the Continental breakfast. Makes a big difference for a big family. Having no hard boiled eggs anymore. And very minimal toast. Is a big difference when you are on a tight budget. Taking that away really reduces the decent breakfast. People smoking right in front of the building with no policing of the fact that they are doing as such. That is quite unfair to the other people staying there. It should be more paid attention to.
