The rio made me a...

Liked: Through the property is off the strip it wasn’t extremely far. It is behind the Caesars palace. There is a Walgreens nearby and other shops. Check in was easy as we used the self check in option. So much bette r then waiting in a long line. My room was just as pictured large bathroom, comfortable king bed, large couch. It was clean. The pool was great. Staff were very attentive and the adults only area provided a great way to relax and enjoy the water without the kiddos. Dj was greats playing good jams. I liked that there were shops still open but I really would have liked to see a performer inside on the large stage area inside near the shops which seemed closed. I needed some socks and was able to grab some from one of the stores which was a life saver. The staff were so helpful.
Disliked: I wished the area with the shops didn’t have as many vacancies. The area has great potential it has a huge stage area for performances which would be great to enjoy. There are a few shops still there but I wish there were more options.

Eat at Luckley's but avoid...

Liked: Large clean rooms! Luckley's food was the best I've had in months if not all year. I will go there to eat the next time I stay in Vegas. Check in and out on Kiosks was easy and staff at the desk was available, helpful and kind.
Disliked: Many of the stores in the back of the casino were closed which made it a little creepy. Our room had a view of the roof which was also depressing. Lastly, a huge leak happened in the room next to ours soaking the hallway. We weren't offered another room, nobody even put a wet floor sign until day 2 of the leak. I soaked my pants and shoes walking in the hallway not knowing the leak was there. Then, they sent someone to repair it at bedtime instead of in the daytime. Wetvac going at 1130 pm. ugh

OK BUT NOT GREAT

Liked: Large room with quite good facilities. When the room was serviced it was quite good. The location of the hotel is 1.1 miles from The Strip which is walkable but in 40°C temperatures means that you really need to use a taxi or a bus.
Disliked: When checking in I was asked for a Security Deposit of US$800, this being $100 for each night of my stay. I complained that it was too much and they reduced the amount to $500. I re-read my Booking.com information and found that the Security Deposit was shown as $300. They eventually agreed to that amount. Being a Hyatt Hotel I was expecting good service however, my room was not serviced one day and then when I found it was not serviced the following day I requested my room be cleaned. Nobody showed up so I gave up after 3.5 hours and made the bed myself. The following morning I spoke to Reception and the room was serviced for the remaining 2 nights there. I should not have to chase around for my room to be serviced.
