A very good two day visit

Liked: Everything.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The pool is the best!!! Great music playing, a lot of space with comfy lounge chairs, wonderful wait staff, and you have the option to order food & drinks. Food selection at The Rio is great too. The bed was super comfy. The room was very spacious.
Disliked: I have only 3 negatives. One, please provide more than 1 set of towels for a room, two set’s would’ve been reasonable. I don’t need my room cleaned every day while checked into a hotel, but only set of towels? Two, housekeeping, do better! Spots in carpet, smudge prints in the middle of the mirror and the bathroom shower head was disgusting!! Three, the WORST one of all…the a/c was struggling when we first got in. It was only 84 degrees outside. Anyway, I go in to lower the temperature on the thermostat. It’s 75 degrees in the room, but it’s set at 63 degrees!!!! I decided to investigate, the thermostat was already “kinda” hanging off the wall mount. So I lifted the thermostat and lo and behold, there is 3 inches of dust and every other unimaginable “living”, “microscopic” grossness covering the WHOLE thermostat!! No wonder it was working properly. Can you imagine the allergens I was breathing in. This is post COVID! I literally peeled off the 3 inch layer of yuck and threw it away. Well, what do know, it started keeping the actual room temperature.

Disliked: They Are Involved In Fraud & My Card Was Ran Mulitiple Times With No Explanation Or Refunds

Liked: The view from the window was just exceptional! Good solutions to have 2 separate sinks: one for bathroom, one for the "make-uop table.
Disliked: The lobby is a little bit tricky. It is hard to get lost between all these gambling machines. Few times we found the exit very hardly.

Liked: The fact that it has expanded from when I stayed there a few years back..

Liked: The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: Not all pools were available.

The Rio: Great Resort, Great...

Liked: Our room was spacious and clean. Unlike so many other hotels, we didn't feel cramped or like we were in an outdated facility.
Disliked: Although the room was very nice, it does need to be looked at by someone who knows how to inspect a room so that needed upgrades may be noted (and made). That said, there were no instructions on hotel or room amenities for people that are not tech savvy. Overall, we had a great time. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful, as were the parking valets which is very convenient. This was a very nice experience which my wife and I will return to without any hesitation.
