Centrally located at the northern end of Cairns iconic waterfront Esplanade Crystalbrook Riley features 311 stylish rooms and suites three restaurants and bars including Cairns' highest rooftop bar Rocco an expansive lagoon pool and private beach the stunning Eléme Day Spa functions and events spaces for up to 400 people and a 24-hour fitness center. This 5-star property is set a short distance from attractions such as the Center of Contemporary Arts the Cairns Performing Arts Center and Cairns Hospital. The property is a 10-minute walk from the Great Barrier Reef Departure Terminal and a 7-minute drive from Flecker Botanic Gardens. The nearest airport is Cairns Airport 3.1 mi from the property. Most of Riley's contemporary rooms and suites have spacious balconies. Family rooms have two bedrooms and two bathrooms while suites and rooms have a mix of urban resort and sea views. Each room features its own Apple iPad control center complete with healthy living apps a 55-inch Smart TV Staycast by Google for video streaming access to hundreds of complimentary movies and box sets blackout blinds a rainforest shower head and Nespresso coffee machine with recyclable pods. All public and in-room areas are equipped with free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is served daily at the property. Enjoy modern dining at Paper Crane restaurant and bar or indulge in 24-hour in-room dining from 6 November 2018. Greenfields and Rocco Cairns' highest rooftop bar will be open for guests to enjoy at the property from December 2018. You can lounge poolside in a cabana or at Riley's man-made beach or do laps in the lap pool. There is also a 24-hour fitness center at the property. Excellent

Liked: Perfect location, very clean and friendly staff
Disliked: No Coffees or soft drink on room service was harder to get non alcoholic drinks- not a big deal but would be nice addition to the already great stay

Great stay, lovely staff, perfect...

Liked: Gorgeous building with lots of well thought of details and decor
Disliked: Slightly too few sun loungers by the pool, but I think they were adding extra decking to hopefully include more

3.5 Star Hotel AT BEST

Liked: Location, views and staff were lovely.
Disliked: This is AT BEST a 3.5 star property. So tired and rundown and it’s only 7 years old! Marks on the walls, mould in the shower, chips off the bottom of the front door, broken cupboards and stainer carpet. If you’re expecting 5 star it’s just not. That being said I think all hotels in Cairns are pretty average and this is just that although I’d even go as far to say below average especially given the price!! Beyond disappointing.

Disappointing that the time in...

Liked: Location, pool
Disliked: Our room 135, was musty. We needed to sleep with the door open( which was noisy). Even still, neither my husband or I could sleep well.Very disappointing.
