Richmond Marriott Short Pump

Very disappointing experience.

Liked: The staff were very kind. That’s bout the only good thing.
Disliked: The price for one small room was over $200 and it was dingy, dark, and not very clean. There were crumbs and dirt from whoever was in the room before us. My room was a very far walk from the elevator and the first time I went to the room, the key card didn’t work. I first called to see if I had to come down to fix it and there was no answer. They only had one person working the desk, and she was apparently dealing with other people having the same problem because when I did go back down, there were two other people down there with the same problem. After we got settled and started watching tv to go to sleep, the power went out. It took about five minutes to get it back in and then the tv wouldn’t work at all after that, so we just went to sleep very disappointed with the entire experience. I thought I was paying a higher price for a clean, safe, and comfortable experience and I got none of that. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
