Rho is on the edge of Dam Square half a mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It has free Wi-Fi and the lobby is an impressive Art Deco-style former theater. All of the rooms at Rho Hotel include satellite TV and a refrigerator. They also each have a private bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room which overlooks Dam Square. It includes a selection of bread cereals and a few warm dishes including scrambled eggs. There is a small bar and vending machines in the lobby for snacks and drinks such as coffee. Hotel Rho is 175 yards from the Kalverstraat shopping area and from the Dam Square tram stop. Liked: Superb location 1 min walk to Dam square and city centre.
Disliked: Drinking water facilities.

If you’re in the city...

Liked: Not much it was old had a moldy smell to it just an old place, but needs a little bit of an update
Disliked: No air conditioning and he said there was gonna be air air-conditioning and the breakfast was so so

Fantastic location

Liked: Great location -easy access to public transport and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Old style hotel but has good size , comfortable room.
Disliked: Limited coffee options .You need to pay for a cappuccino or similar
