Hotel Description
Rho is on the edge of Dam Square half a mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It has free Wi-Fi and the lobby is an impressive Art Deco-style former theater. All of the rooms at Rho Hotel include satellite TV and a refrigerator. They also each have a private bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room which overlooks Dam Square. It includes a selection of bread cereals and a few warm dishes including scrambled eggs. There is a small bar and vending machines in the lobby for snacks and drinks such as coffee. Hotel Rho is 175 yards from the Kalverstraat shopping area and from the Dam Square tram stop. The Anne Frank House and Rembrandt House Museum are both within a 10-minute walk of the hotel.

Disliked: Lack of tea and coffee. No acknowledgement from reception staff in mornings or when returning to accomodation.

Liked: Convenient location. Nice staff
Disliked: I was overcharged for my stay. I had booked through Booking.com and was billed by them on March 30 for part of the payment. When I checked out I was charged again. Total bill was supposed to be $698.32. I was charged $360.37 on March 30 and charged $609.83 at check - out. I am owed a refund.
