Superb

Amazing 2 nights stay, love...

Liked: Perfect location and really clean room. Staff was polite, welcoming and kind.
Disliked: Two single beds put together to make up a double bed.

Overall nice hotel, but let...

Liked: The location was great for us; very central and within walking distance to the railway station (although many of the surrounding paths and streets are cobblestone, which made pulling a trolley suitcase along a rather noisy affair). Nice to have the Rhein river close by. The room itself was pleasant enough: compact but comfortable, clean and tidy. I appreciated the little extras such as the mini fridge, complementary bottle of sparkling water and the safe. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and clean (if a little on the narrow side), and the air conditioning worked fine, keeping the room cool after a hot day even with the window closed (and the window itself worked well to keep the inevitable inner-city noise from the street and nearby restaurants low). The price would have been fine for what was offered (except for the main complaint; see below!).
Disliked: Unfortunately, what would have been a very pleasant and comfortable stay was let down badly by two aspects related to cleanliness and maintenance of facilities. Firstly, upon arrival in the evening, the shower in the (very compact) bathroom was dirty, with a fair amount of long hair visible, protruding from under the drain cover (which, upon lifting, revealed a great mass of hair and filth in the drain, which was very unpleasant). I mentioned this to reception straightaway and was assured that it would be cleaned in the morning. When we came back the next day, the shower area had been cleaned, but only half-heartedly: the hair previously sprouting out beyond the drain cover had been removed, but upon lifting the drain cover, the area beneath still looked filthy and hairy, so it had not been cleaned thoroughly. The worst thing, however, was the smell in the bathroom, which was like old sewer/unclean drains. It was already noticeable when we first entered the room, as a faint whiff of something unpleasant, and became very noticeable once you opened the bathroom door. It spoiled the whole experience as using the bathroom was made very unpleasant by this smell. Luckily the bathroom door shut tightly, so once it was closed and we had kept the window open for a while, the room itself did not smell anymore. I mentioned this to the woman at the reception desk when we checked out and was assured that it would be looked into straightaway. However, I have since read this same complaint in previous reviews, so I am definitely not the first guest to have noticed this problem. It's a shame that this has not been addressed although it's been mentioned before, as apart from this I'd say it's a great hotel. I hope this can be fixed, as otherwise our stay would have been really nice and I would happily have stayed again. As it is, however, I can't really recommend this hotel.

Decent stay for the price.

Liked: The suite accommodated our family of 5.
Disliked: We arrived early for check in to store luggage. But when we returned at check in, room still was not ready. We were sent next door for 10% off drinks while we wait where service was bad, as were the drinks.Our air conditioning was leaking (although the young man that came in was wonderful, no room comp or discount was offered). Additionally the toilet seat was not attached well and moved when sat on, and the soap dispenser was broken.

Excellent location

Liked: Comfy beds. Clean.Excellent location on the river with many food places and shops, right next to the cathedral. 10 minute walk from the train station.
Disliked: One of our rooms (first floor) had a very small bathroom that needed some minor upgrades (but this wouldn't stop us staying here again)

Pleasant

Liked: Great Location
Disliked: Room was located on a different section of the building where we had to walk 2 floors up the stairs with really strong doors on the way.

Stay on the banks of...

Liked: The location of the hotel is very good. The rooms are clean. The facilities were good. Ms. Yağmur, the receptionist, was very attentive and friendly.
Disliked: There was a strange smell in the corridors.But the rooms are clean

Liked: Great location, gave discount for local parking, nice clean room and comfortable bed, nice free breakfast pastries and coffee
Disliked: Impossible to find room your in and receptionist told us to “look around” to find it, parking overnight was €19 after discount
