Our stay was exceptional!
Liked: The location was great and a short drive to the places we needed to go. The breakfast was good and the hotel was well kept. It seemed to be a newer hotel and our room was very comfortable and clean. We definitely would plan a trip with this hotel in mind since it is within walking distance of Living History Farms and the Machine Shed Restaurant.
Disliked: We cannot think of anything we didn't like.

Disappointing
Liked: Clean, modern
Disliked: I know the hotel tries to come up as four star higher end, but it really wasn’t. Getting to the hotel was awkward because the directions took us to a parking lot that was shared by three or four other hotels so we had to drive through the parking lot which led to the back end of the hotel. There was not clear signage to indicate that we had to drive up the side of the road to get to the front of the hotel which faced the freeway. Upon entering the main entrance, the large rotating door was in disrepair and closed, so we needed to go in by a side door. We came in the early evening to check in and at the front desk It was very loud from the bar and the lighting was low. The check-in was basically two people seated at a desk type counter. The woman tried to check me and couldn’t seem to identify or managed the booking.com registration. our room, while new and comfortable was odd in that here was no separation of the bathroom, shower and sink from the rest of the room, thus no privacy if desired. There was a continental or self-serve buffet type breakfast. We were there at about 6:45 AM and the eggs were cold. There were really no staff around except for a person at the front desk. I told her about the food issues, and she kind of looked at me blankly and said “I’ll tell the kitchen staff“. We noticed that nobody checked on the buffet. The pastries were something you might expect at a budget hotel breakfast - very dry, and not at all fresh. The fresh fruit was good. The strawberry yogurt with some kind of topping on it tasted artificial and was overly sweet. The bacon was good and at least warm coffee was OK.
