It was an ideal location...
Liked: The staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. I really appreciated the well-equiped kitchen and the great breakfast (plus the coffee was excellent!)
Disliked: The closet door was in need of repair... it wouldn't open properly.

Liked: Really charming even though it's a chain hotel. Also, fantastic breakfast.

Well-located, and on track to...
Liked: Arrived late and was well-treated by the staff-- I was given an upgrade without asking.
Disliked: The neighborhood is still under development. That being said, in a couple of years, when the construction is done, this will be one of the coolest sections of Portland.

Liked: Located and available where and when I needed it.
Disliked: Reception staffed by one courteous person and one young lady who was not professional. She stopped checking me in to assist a younger man and flirted with him while telling me that she wasn't really working and told me that she was wearing slippers. Oth

Liked: The entire experience was extraordinary. The minute we walked in the front door we were meet by a cheerful and very professional staff who answered our questions and were able to provide us with a room that was not what our original reservations were for but this room was just as nice. Your hospitality continued the next day, the free breakfast was extraordinary. My traveling companion has to watch her diet and one of the staff members explained what items could be eaten and which could not. We filled our plates and enjoyed a great meal and were ready to set out to see the area. With limited knowledge of the area, we went back to the front desk. The mural behind the desk was of a beautiful lighthouse which was very close by. Asking how do we get there a set of directions was printed by the staff and given to us. So off we went. The view of the lighthouses and fort structures far exceeded what we expected to see. What a beautiful historical sight.
When we returned to the hotel, Adam Green of the Management Staff had contacted us while we were out, He knew what happened with the reservation and wanted to work with us to make it right Thank you Adam for doing that. That is true customer service.
That evening we utilized the free shuttle service to go downtown for dinner. The driver was on time to pick us up and drop off us at the destination. We really appreciated that since the temperature had dropped very fast and we were leg weary from the walk around earlier that day. After maybe eating more than we should have we decided to walk back to the hotel and then took advantage of the hot tub to address to the weary bones. A sound sleep in a super comfortable bed recharged the two of us to head back to see some more of Portland on a snowy morning.
A sincere thank you to your staff from two who needed a break and you provided more than that. It was a great time.
