The hotel is totally fine,...

Liked: My kids thought the hotel was great. They enjoyed the pool, appreciated the kitchenette and included breakfast. We also liked how dog friendly it was and the location was very convenient to the promenade which was super for walking our pup down to the dog beach and Fort Allen Park. The bed was comfortable and the staff was all very nice as well.
Disliked: Our room faced the parking garage and the decor is quite dark so I found it kind of depressing. The hotel itself feels a bit dated and smells like chlorine in the lobby--from the pool. The size of the room and quality of the pull out couch plus our budget view given how much we paid was disappointing.

Disliked: We were told breakfast was over at 1000. At 0945 staff started removing the food. No coffee.

Fantastic, accommodating stay.

Liked: Staff accommodated for a late check-out with ease. All staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was top-tier, and everything was super clean. The bar had a great atmosphere, and the hotel was easy to work with.
Disliked: The airport shuttle service is a small operation. It was unclear that we were supposed to schedule the shuttle in advance after calling to confirm shuttles were available. On the phone when we arrived to the airport, there was a woman who was very impatient with our confusion. However, the shuttle service was great!! Just make sure to schedule before arriving.

Liked: Breakfast was with a lot of good and healthy selections. Clean amenities, large fridge and microwave, large room. The room with double bed has a nice set up. Has a parking garage separate to the building of the hotel. Friendly staff. Walking distance to Old Port.
Disliked: The carpets are old and as soon as you walk in, there is this overwhelming fabric scent that's also overwhelming while having breakfast. The furniture on the lobby are old and the leathers don't nt have shine on them anymore, the seats have old fabrics that it's not very inviting to sit down on them. Carpets and furnitures need updating.
