Residence Inn by Marriott Jackson

I recommend staying at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and access to I-40, the Carl Perkins Civic Center and restaurants was perfect!

Needs updated beds and couches.

Liked: It was close to the soccer complex we had a tournament at.
Disliked: The bed was leaning, not comfortable, couch is outdated and very low to the ground, the sofa bed mattress was less than desirable, the 9 year old refused to sleep on it, wasn’t given extra sheets or covers for said kid even though room was booked with child. Breakfast was said to be served at 6:30 but on weekend at 7 we had to be at soccer field before 7:30.

Disliked: I had a very frustrating experience trying to contact booking.com; I was on hold for over 20 minutes, and when I finally spoke to someone, I felt they weren't able to hear me properly. To make matters worse, I was overcharged.

Left with no reservation, and...

Liked: The hotel canceled my reservation with one days’ notice and left us scrambling to find other accommodations as we traveled cross-country. We are still waiting for our credit card charges to be adjusted, as we were charged even though they canceled us.

Liked: The staff was so nice when we checked in and the lobby was very beautiful
Disliked: The room was dirty. We found food crumbs under the sheets of the beds, the pool was very dirty and unsuimable and the kitchen tiles weren't even attached to the floor they were just loosely sitting on the floor. The hot tub didn't work either. We had said something to the staff and they said they would address it. We found dirty bed sheets on our kitchen counter tops when we arrived also.
