Liked: I did not go to breakfast. I normally stay at the Marriott Courtyard but wanted to try the Residence Inn. The location was very good and easy to access. I prepaid for my stay through my booking company and the check in was easy. I liked the layout of the room and the many amenities of the room.
Disliked: My only complaint is I prepaid for my stay but was asked for a credit card with my identification upon arrival A normal procedure. However, the front desk guest services person did not notice my prepayment of the two day stay and charged my credit card. I noticed the error on my credit card the following morning and reported it to the front desk. The front desk guest services person was extremely helpful and noted the error and confirmed . She indicated the fees would be refunded. However, it took a call back to the hotel as well as a call to Marriott Reservations. I was then told it could take up to 5-7 days to have the transaction reversed. It was an honest mistake but was an inconvenience as the funds were tied up while waiting on reimbursement.
