Residence Inn by Marriott Whitby

I would stay here again. It was close to the 401 and lots of restaurants and a large cinema. We stayed for a Lacrosse tournament and the boys really enjoyed the hotel.

Liked: The room was clean and spacious with a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast buffet was really good; healthy choices too, not just eggs and bacon.
Disliked: The lobby wasn't very big and there wasn't any common space to sit.

Amazing

Liked: The size of the room and everything inside. Really appreciate the fact that they allow dogs on the premises.

The location was great.

Liked: The location, the staff were efficient.
Disliked: There pillows were horrible and the bed was uncomfortable, There were stains on the sheets and hairs in the bedding. The plumbing was noisy. The walls were paper thin - I could hear people talking in the next room.

Pleasant

Liked: I thought breakfast at hotel was until 11 am, but I didn't go until 10:30 am and it was closed at 10 am. So we never got a chance to eat.
Disliked: Wasn't a pleasant check in as our room wasnt ready, which is fine as I did arrive around 1 pm. Was told they would call me when room was ready and they never did. When i came back the 2nd time to check in the girl was pleasant. I loved the size of room and it was cool to have a kitchen in the room. My only issue was that there were little hairs on the toilet. A clump of long black hair on bathroom floor, not mine as I am a blonde. An elastic by tv on floor. A used kleenex by phone on side table. Little things, but aside from that it was a comfortable bed and good location.

Disliked: There was a THC canister in my oven where the pans go, dishwasher was broken. When I checked in was dealing with Victoria (What an asset to your company) she was friendly amazing and very courteous.. There was a problem with booking.com when I showed her paid she tried really hard to fix it. Then saima (I think her name is) came out and was talking and it was so embarrassing she wouldn’t listen to Victoria or me, when I showed her I paid she insisted I didn’t and tried to charge another 591.00 to my credit card and was loud so others around checking in etc heard this went on for over 30 minutes. She tried telling me that I had to pay you over a 100 more I booked it at 491.00 for two nights then deal with booking later not listening. Then shaming me for not having another 591.00 plus 250.00 plus the 491.00 that I already paid. Worst customer service ever. I would keep Victoria beyond measure she was a gem to deal with! Parking sucks!
