Good enough for my birthday...

Liked: Location. Close to trains and ferry that takes you straight across to manhattan in 5mins. Ferry drops you back off right at hotel. Upscale bar right underneath hotel. Beautiful rooftop with views of nyc skyline and Hudson.
Disliked: Price was really high for what was given. Paying for views obviously. King suite was spacious though. No pool. Booked city view but I actually had a view of other rooms on the property I could literally look in their windows. That sucked. Better off without the window. Breakfast was “hot” but it sucked: oatmeal, cold boiled eggs, bagel, toast, individually wrapped heated in plastic sausage biscuits and English muffins. Coffee wasn’t great either maybe a good creamer would help but there was only cows milk, soy, half&half. Ah well

Liked: Nice location with a view of Manhattan.
Disliked: The staff at the reception smiled and always promised to help but in reality nothing, I never managed to sort it out with them. When I reported missing clothes from the room, they promised to look for it with the cleaning staff but nothing was found. The staff did not pass on any issues, every day I had to explain to the next person at the reception what was missing from my room - and so on for the next few days until the end of my stay. So it's great that you are a hotel guest but if you have a problem they will look at you with sympathy but will practically do nothing for you.In addition the chief of restaurant (woman) every morning had a problem with my group that we were sitting at a 4-person table in 5 people, we were told that we were moving one chair from a table where no one was sitting. In the following days it was not possible to get permission to move one chair to the table so that we could eat breakfast in a group of 5 people. In addition, the food (including boiled eggs) had a very average taste, if you can call it taste.

Liked: Nice views of the city from outside. Convenient location everything is around 30 min close.
Disliked: Parking! At lease they should do discounts but I have to pay the full amount, the problem was I have to use the car couple times a day

Spacious rooms in an otherwise...

Liked: Spacious room, clean and quiet. But other than that, quite colorless and not maximizing the amazing location they have facing Manhattan.
Disliked: Paid extra for a room with aview, as the location should in principle offer a beautiful view on Manhattan. Yet, what they consider a view is not a frontal view, but a partial view from rooms facing the side, overlooking a parking lot. You can only see a glimpse of "the view" when you press your nose against the window. Missed opportunity, when you're at this location. And not worth the extra money.
