Nice facility if you don’t...

Liked: New hotel. Rooms are nice.
Disliked: $150 fee for a dog for one night is ridiculous. Booking site said pet friendly and “may be a pet fee.” No specifics were given. I learned about the exorbitant fee only after receiving an email about checking in. At that point it was too late to cancel the reservation.Also the hot tub and the 4th floor overlook lounge are right by the highway so they are very loud.

Good room, horrible and lazy...

Liked: Very good breakfast selections and quality. Room was very clean and comfortable. The provided shuttle bus to the village center was very convenient.
Disliked: The 2nd day of our stay, the cleaning staff missed our room entirely, not emptying the trashcan, refreshing the coffee items, and changing out our towels. When we came back from the day's events, I personally went to the front desk, informed them of the situation, and asked if someone could go up and take out our trash and provide 2 sets of new towels. They hesitated at first to help, but, then assured me that someone would come up, empty our trash and provide new towels. No one ever came up. What a horrible night staff. Why would a hotel with your reputation let lazy and non responsive employees ruin your image?

The Residence Inn was a...

Liked: This is a new (2024) facility with very nice finishes. It was reasonably priced (for Vail). Breakfast was good - not exceptional - a good value to get ready for the day. The regular shuttle runs into Vail were very useful and helped compensate for the remote location.
Disliked: The fold out bed was disappointing - a fold out spring platform instead of a higher quality memory foam bed.Be aware of extra $50 daily parking fee.
