Residence Inn by Marriott Sedona

Very good

Liked: Location and design of room.
Disliked: Pool needed tending to.....naturaldebris and cigarette in pool.

Good base for a family...

Liked: The hotel is easy to find just outside the center of Sedona. The rooms are functional, quiet and comfortable. The hotel has a nice pool and well-equipped fitness center. There is a bar although we didn't use it. The breakfasts are very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful - particularly the breakfast staff.
Disliked: I don't like being charged $25 per day for parking and I wondered why this is not just included in the room cost. Later I realized that if parking was included it would be subject about 15% in various state and local occupancy taxes so by keeping it separate they are actually saving you money. I was also told all Sedona hotels charge for parking.

Disappointing

Nice, clean, comfortable

Liked: The room is clean, the furniture is new, the breakfast is good, the staff is friendly, and it's very convenient to have a barbecue.
Disliked: price for parking

Best place to stay in...

Liked: The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and very spacious. The pool is great. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back.
Disliked: Everything was great.

Disliked: Old room, other guests at the pool were rude to us

Terrible!!!

Liked: The property was located right near a vortex which was a plus.
Disliked: The staff was very unfriendly. Did not greet us or welcome us. The staff did not provide blankets initially only sheets. The property fan was so extremely loud in our room that when we brought it up to the front desk we thought they would assist however dismissed us. Would never stay here again!
