The Spotlight on Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown

Spacious Suites Near Seattle’s Music Scene

Modern, comfortable, and designed for longer stays, the Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown offers a relaxing home base just across Lake Washington from Seattle’s biggest concert venues. Located in Bellevue’s downtown district, it blends suburban calm with easy city access, making it a smart pick for music lovers who want room to breathe—and maybe even cook a post-show snack.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re only about 10 miles from major Seattle venues like Lumen Field and Climate Pledge Arena, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. The hotel’s late check-out time of 12:00 PM means no stress after a late show, and the 24/7 front desk ensures you can come and go on your own schedule. With free bikes available, you can explore Bellevue by day before heading to the city for the night’s performance.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends will love the spacious suites with kitchens and sitting areas. Solo travelers will feel safe and comfortable, while couples can enjoy a weekend retreat with space to relax. If you’re a fan who needs to recharge after the encore, this spot offers a quieter recovery space. And with included amenities like free WiFi and breakfast, it’s a win for budget-conscious music fans.

Food and Drink Options

The on-site restaurant makes grabbing a bite easy before or after the show, and each suite’s full kitchen gives you the option to cook your own late-night meal. Breakfast is available in buffet, continental, or American style, perfect for recovering from a night out. While there’s no 24/7 room service, you’ll find plenty of walkable eateries in downtown Bellevue.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, you’re a short ride from Seattle’s best bars and clubs. Prefer to stay local? Downtown Bellevue has upscale lounges and local breweries within walking distance. After the show, you can wind down on the hotel’s shared terrace or in the indoor lounge.

What People Say

Guests love the clean, spacious rooms, especially the full kitchens and comfy beds. The staff is praised for being friendly and helpful, and travelers appreciate the quiet location that still offers easy access to Seattle. The indoor pool and fitness center are popular extras, especially for longer stays.

Areas for Improvement

Some reviewers mention that parking is an extra charge and that traffic into Seattle can be heavy during peak hours. But if you’re planning ahead—or using public transit or rideshare—it’s a manageable trade-off for the space and amenities.

The Bottom Line

A top pick for concert-goers who want comfort, space, and calm after the show without sacrificing access to Seattle’s music scene.

Superb

Liked: welcoming staff and layout of main lobby and lounge. Room was comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Wifi was finicky. had to go to lobby twice and stand in a specific spot to connect, then had to join Bonvoy program (for free) to get it to work.

Overall stay was positive, but...

Liked: The breakfast was pretty good, I would say 7 out of 10 overall. Had a good variety but the quality was 6 out of 10. They had different things every day I was there and added a cold coffee section my last day, that was nice. The pool was big, always had towels and lots of seating. The work out room was big too and had lots of options, head phones available, very accomodating. I was on my last leg of my 13 day trip and had to do laundry, I was very happy they had it, and soap, washed fast had no issues.
Disliked: Had to pay for parking per night. I thought it was for extra guests, but it is for anyone getting a room, you cant just park on their property. The pool was cool, but it was freezing and the front desk person just said oh we know and sorry, that was it. Swimming is our favorite thing to do and we only went once in 3 days because it was so cold. I dont like that breakfast is from 7am to 9am, that is a huge hotel and having to cram everyone in for breakfast in 2 hours made it a little choatic, especially the waffle station. I really did not have much luck with the front desk staff, they were very cranky and not very helpful, except one of them, which was Saturday morning.
