Enjoyed our stay.
Liked: Walking distance to Savannah Civic Center and Visitors Center. Hotel staff is exceptional, especially valet staff. Very kind and helpful. Breakfast is included and offerings are great! More like a small, boutique hotel than a chain.
Disliked: If you don't valet park, street parking could be a challenge. Valet is an exceptional deal though, compared to other cities/hotels.

Nice little hotel within walking...
Liked: Staff were very helpful and gave us a room that was ready for check in even though we had booked through Booking.com and technically that room was not ready. They went the extra mile b/c they could see we were exhausted after driving all day. They provided a list of recommended restaurants and easy directions to walk to the river front. It was a 20 minute walk to the area we wanted to visit.
Disliked: Valet parking was a little annoying when the lot is right across the street, but it is a small lot, so maybe it gets full? There was free parking on the street, but it felt like that might not be a good idea.

Apart from the injury, the...
Liked: Location is good, staff friendly, breakfast ample.
Disliked: I was injured the first day. When I opened the top drawer in the kitchen, it broke off and hit my knee. It hurt a lot and immediately swelled to baseball size. I applied ice and kept it elevated. In the days that followed it was sore and hurt when walking, especially bending my knee. Right after it happened we brought the broken drawer and complained to the the person at the front desk, who wrote an injury report. The manager called the next day to ask how I was and if I had gone to the hospital. This injury really hampered our vacation as Savannah is a wonderful place to explore on foot. After I asked for some kind of compensation, the manager offered to discount 2 nights from out 5 night stay. It's been a week now and, while pain is better, it still hurts, especially going down steps. Bruising is extensive all around my left leg from 6 " above to 8" below my knee. I didn't think the injury was so serious at first. I would like a formal apology and more financial compensation.

Great location! Non-existant housekeeping.
Liked: We liked the location because it was walkable and also close to the highway. The front desk clerks were so helpful, as was the valet.
Disliked: We stayed four nights on the second floor of a cottage. At no time did housekeeping ever come to our room. We had to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper. Even though we spoke to a member of the housekeeping staff and were assured of service.

Liked: Location, location, location. We walked to everything in Savannah from here. The facility is beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful and I would recommend this hotel to any of my family and friends.
