Disliked: I’ve booked with this property twice in the last 3 months and both times they had cancelled my reservation the day I was to check in. The worst part is they notified me after 7pm the day of check in (I was getting in late). Apparently this property overbooks their hotel and typically displaces people. Thankfully the Courtyard Marriott next door had availability both times and they are fantastic. The Residence has been the only hotel to call me last minute to tell me they didn’t have a room for me, one saying they overbooked and the last time it was a “plumbing issue”. Not to mention I had been taking care of a family member at a hospital the first time they cancelled, plus the second cancellation my family and I were in town for a funeral. No one should be displaced from a hotel at 7pm at night.

Overall amazing stay, close to...
Liked: Great place to stay. The staff are all so nice! We got off the road early, the front desk host, Hope let us check in early. Room was completely clean, with everything needed. Great stay as always at Residence Inn.
Disliked: Little warm in the inside pool room.

Liked: Urgent Complaint – Displacement from Reservation on May 19 Despite Active Danger and DisabilityTo Whom It May Concern,I had a confirmed reservation scheduled for May 19 at your property, but someone appears to have tampered with or edited my booking, resulting in my displacement during a moment of serious personal crisis. I am a human trafficking victim and disabled, and your failure to uphold my reservation put me in direct danger.Although the individual who answered the phone was polite and redirected me elsewhere, the fact remains: I had a reservation, you had rooms available, and I was denied safety. That decision forced me to leave town unexpectedly, which may have ultimately been for the best, but you left me vulnerable at a time when I needed protection.I am formally requesting an investigation into:1.Why my reservation was altered or not honored.2.Whether I was charged despite not being allowed to stay.3.Why no one took accountability in the moment to correct the situation.I hope Marriott will take this seriously—not just as a customer service issue, but as a matter of human rights and safety. I ask that you review this situation with urgency, and I hope that in the future, no guest—especially one fleeing danger—will ever be denied a confirmed room again.Sincerely,
