I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Liked: They have the best breakfast and the hotel front desk clerks have great customer service.
Disliked: The hotel is very dirty. The pool area: tables dusty, floors dirty, trash can lids dirty. My husband was sitting by the pool and someone threw a marijuana joint down to the pool area. He was able to take a picture of the open window to locate the room. The air conditioner system was hard to control. It is either too hot or too cold.

Sadly we won't stay here...
Liked: This hotel offers a great view of the Capitol building. The games by the pool were tons of fun and my teen enjoyed the spa. The lobby was so cool and clean as was the breakfast area.
Disliked: Our air conditioner did not work until about 17 hours until check out. On the 11 floor in Sacramento heat penetrating the room. It was hot. I reached out on the first full day there that it was not cold in our room (checked in late Thursday night) on Friday afternoon. Engineering came and said we turned the air too cold and it froze and it had to defrost. The next day, Saturday it was, still not cool in the room despite engineering coming by again saying we refroze it. Sunday, it was still frozen. I went directly to the front desk and requested my room be serviced by housekeeping (we never even had our bed made or trash removed unless I did it myself up until that point of our stay. Imagine that though, when housekeeping finally came in, my daughter happens to be there and said the ac still was not working and the attendant said “oh no, it’s too hot in here," and reached out herself to engineering. After an hour away at the pool my air was finally fixed. So for a grand total of 18 hours out of our 90 hour stay. I had my bed made once and a few hours of cool air. I’m glad i only paid $250ish per night to feel sweaty/ clammy in our room and making us feel like we were responsible for the ac system breaking. When I brought it up to the front desk as I was checking out after having loaded everything in my truck they asked if I’d like a late check out.

Excellent location for a downtown...
Liked: The front desk staff. Probably the best customer service I received from a hotel! They were so informative and helpful! I truly enjoyed conversing with them.
Disliked: Maybe parking garage directions prior to arriving at the hotel would be nice. I had to park on the street to figure out where I could park.

Liked: The view from our room was amazing. 10th floor suite can't beat it. The location could not have been better. Our Girls Night trip was everything and more by staying here.
Disliked: Valet would be a great asset.

A bit expensive, but we...
Liked: It's a very nice hotel. Our room was surprisingly large; I didn't realize I'd reserved a suite with two separate bedrooms! It was perfect for us... my wife and I stayed in one room and my two daughters stayed in the second room. It really was like a small 2-bedroom apartment. The entire place is very clean, with a friendly and accommodatingly helpful staff.
Disliked: The continental breakfast is a bit small but it has the waffle maker machines (which we always love); it's enough to fill your stomach until you have lunch. The entrance to the parking garage is a challenge, and when we were there the garage's elevator wasn't working which sucked when it came to lugging our stuff down the stairs from the fourth level. Also, one of the hotel elevator doors was excruciatingly slow to close... it took as long to close as it took to take the ride up to the 12th floor.
