Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Downtown/Waterfront

Great stay overall. Not perfect,...

Liked: Room: The kitchen was nice and open with clean and functioning appliances. The sheets were nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast: The selection was great and the area very clean and tidy. Location: Loved the location and the parking garage. The front desk staff were AMAZING at providing ideas for outings with my family as well as gestures of patience and kindness towards my children.
Disliked: Room: Was a little tight on walking space around one of the bedrooms with a king size bed. Also asked for sofa bedding that included the most measly looking blanket and no comforter. Breakfast: I attempted to get an attendant to help with the waffle batter dispenser. I told her it had been working but now wasn't dispensing past a trickle, but she just shook up the container and walked away. I tested it and it still was not working that great. Decided to just eat something else. The next day it was working fine again.

Liked: elevators were far away from room, there was no food except breakfastthere were no resturants close to the hotelfinding their roundabout to drop baggage off was a nightmare to find and so was the garagethe room was smaller than I thought it would beThe Staff was nice
Disliked: serve some kind of snacks in the bar areainfo on website all resturants are at least a 20 minute walk or you have to UberNot much to do unless you drive
