Our one night stay was enjoyable. The king size bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and the hotel staff was professional, accommodating and friendly. We had a short walk to the Kimmel Center and enjoyed a late night meal at the excellent Perch Pub. The complimentary breakfast was great. We would definitely stay at the Marriott again.

Liked: Clean rooms; friendly staff; quick room service; located near venues.
Disliked: Needed better directions to the hotel.

I am 60+ so I look for a hotel that I can feel safe in and not to far to my event. I enjoy walking instead of a cab and this hotel filled all my needs - I am coming back in June and again I will use this hotel. Not one thing I would change.

Disappointing

Liked: The staff was amazing, super nice, they even let us have an early check in. Central location, close to everything you need to see in Philly. The view from the room can be pretty nice, with overlooking the town hall.
Disliked: The hotel is old, it could use renovating (or deep cleaning haha).The carpets, even though they look clean, are full of dust and that triggered my allergy. I'm glad it was a one night booking, since I wouldn't last longer in that room. At the breakfast, you have low choice of food, but ok quality, but the cutlery is PLASTIC. Knifes, forks, spoons, plates, cups, everything is plastic.

I would love to stay...

Liked: I loved the consideration that the hotel put into changing their breakfast hours to accommodate the volleyball players who had to leave early each morning. The staff even put out a large bucket of ice for players to put in their water bottles. Above and beyond!
Disliked: My AC wasn’t working for 2 of the days but I wish I had said something to the staff when the problem occurred because they took care of the problem within 30 minutes.

Liked: The hotel was awesome, The staff was extra friendly and helpful from the time that we arrived. One employee by the name of Mariah stood out. She was exceptional and went out of her way to accommodate a very nice environment and an awesome room. Hats off to the valet staff.

First time in Philly

Liked: Our room was upgraded upon check-in. The room size was fabulous: lounge, dining and kitchenette. Great location as well.
