Liked: I picked the Residence Inn Ontario because it was close to the Ontario Convention Center. That is the only thing I liked about the property.
Disliked: Typically Marriott properties have a reputation for service and moderate to high hotel accommodations. Unfortunately, Residence Inn Ontario did not meet any of those standards. The property was run down and in a state of ill repair. There was no one at the front desk at check-in so we waited quite a few minutes until someone finally came to greet us. Once we found our room it was apparent that it was not cleaned properly. There were chip crumbs on the floor, blood stains on the carpet in the vanity area and cup rings on the counter. The furniture was cracked and had holes and the aroma of some sort of cleaning agent to hide the thick smell of smoke was overpowering. We would have left if we hadn’t been exhausted by our travels. We did not unpack for fear of contamination. We barely slept and immediately checked out at 7:00 a.m. I do not recommend this location at all. Save your money and time.

Liked: We had no warm water for the two days we stayed there. It was a rough time with my entire group being unable to take warm showers and the hotel did nothing to fix it.
