Disappointing Stay – Poor Service...

Disliked: We recently stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Ocean City, MD, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We booked two rooms for 4 nights and spent over $2,500, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable stay. However, the service fell far short of expectations.First, we requested two rooms near each other but were placed far apart. Both rooms were on the lower level, with no view of the water or the city as promised in the listing.During our entire stay, we never received room cleaning service—not even after specifically asking on the third day. We had to wait until late in the evening just to get clean towels.The “free breakfast” was also a letdown. By 9 a.m., there was hardly any food left, and staff didn’t restock efficiently. At the pool, we waited two hours for clean towels, but they never came.To make things worse, we were charged for two parking spots even though we had only one car. One night, we arrived back late to find no hotel parking available and had to leave our car on the street—but were still charged for that night.Overall, our experience was frustrating and not worth the price. We expected much better service from a Marriott property. I do not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Liked: Easy to get to and the rooms are sound proof heard no traffic or neighbors
Disliked: Entering was a little confusing

Best Hotel We Stayed At...

Liked: Pools were nice but busy Views were beautifulBreakfast was great and variety provided
Disliked: Walk to Beach but everything else made up for it

2nd birthday location to celebrate...

Liked: The wraparound balcony and the full size kitchen. The ambiance of the hotel.The hotel was pretty. It offered breakfast but I overslept.
Disliked: Only one entrance to the hotel. Humans and animals (dogs) enter the same elevator and entrance. My room pillows smelled a little funny, not sure if the scent as I could be a dog but not sure so I wrapped a towel around my pillows because it was late in order to lay on it to sleep. The bed would have been comfortable but felt like a board was between the mattress.The elevator is very slow.
