We had to switch rooms...

Liked: We had to switch rooms twice. The first room, when my son opened the pull out couch found a used condom wrapper. When we moved to the second room, there was another used condom wrapper in the couch. As we switched rooms, they moved us to smaller rooms as well. I would like a refund

Would definitely stay again

Liked: Despite first impressions of the reception area, the staff were very nice. My room was perfect and so comfortable. I had a lounge with TV, kitchen area, lots of storage space, TV in the bedroom, along with a lovely king-sized bed. Bathroom had everything I needed and the place was spotlessly clean. Location was perfect for me as five minute walk to the train station, restaurants close by and easy for my son to get to me from Iona. The breakfast area is nice, and although no cooked breakfast, still a good choice of food. I really like that there is a wash room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer for use by guests.
Disliked: This hotel is currently undergoing some renovation work, so the reception area was covered in plastic sheeting, which was not a good first impression and it could have said this on booking.com, so I knew in advance.
