Residence Inn by Marriott Minneapolis Downtown/City Center

We had a very positive experience with this hotel. The parking ramp we used was connected to the hotel so we didn't need to carry our luggage outside (it was snowing); the continental breakfast buffet was delicious and had something for everyone! The staff was very polite and helpful with getting us a ride to and from the hotel. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. I truly enjoyed the whole experience.

Liked: The Residence inn located downtown Minneapolis is very clean facility, offered well stocked breakfast and staff at the desk were helpful and very knowledgeable. Located to many restaurants. Security in the hotel made us feel very comfortable.
Disliked: someone should of been on the air conditioning in the lobby. with weather conditions at 100plus degrees out it was very hot and stuffy in lobby and breakfast area. Thermostat in lobby read 85.

Okay for the price. But...

Liked: Space. The amount of space given for a lengthier stay is appreciated. Staff were all lovely! Appreciated the standalone computer in the lobby -- always good to have a plan B.
Disliked: Internet connection has to be more reliable. Breakfast station is mediocre for a hotel. But a warm meal is better than no meal. (Excellent choice of yogurt, though!)

Liked: It was in a great location, parking was $23 a day but it was a convenient walk to the hotel as you didn't have to leave the parking garage.The room was nice,the only thing I didn't like is that the shower head and bath tub had some rust.
