Liked: Room was good size and bed was fairly comfortable. Employees were nice and common areas, other than pool, seemed clean.
Disliked: Stayed 11 nights. Room cleaned only once on 7th day and only after inquiry. They did come in 2 days later and only ran dishwasher and emptied trash, leaving note saying nothing else could be done because of personal items on counters and bed and sorry for the inconvenience - there was nothing breakable and only some clothing laying on bed! We had to ask for or take clean towels off maid cart in hallway during our entire stay.Pool bottom clearly needs a good scrubbing. It is filthy. The pool towels were rarely stocked.Tried to use BBQ grill in common area but ran out of gas almost immediately. Woman at desk said she didn't know where any gas tanks were and made a feeble attempt to look for one, then suggested we just go buy a propane tank ourselves. Really?! We had to take partially cooked food back to room to finish cooking on stove top. Next day another woman at front desk found four tanks almost immediately in closet by BBQ.Our toilet had a shrill whistling noise that lasted about 45-60 seconds each time it was flushed. Not so annoying during day but loud enough to wake you at night. AC unit also make loud clanging and strange noises..again not so bad during the day but annoying as heck at night. Front desk called maintenance....they verified that indeed the commode and AC made noises but didn't know how to fix so they gave us a 'nice little gift bag' consisting of two bottles of water and a bag of chips. Again....really?!Only one out of four windows would stay open but that one only opened about four inches. When you are cooking in your bedroom you want to air it out and that was not really possible. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Fresh fruit was certainly not fresh and coffee was not good at all.Expected much better quality from a Marriott.
