Stylish Apartment-Style Living Near London’s Music Scene

Modern, self-contained suites meet urban charm at the Residence Inn by Marriott London Tower Bridge. Set on vibrant Bermondsey Street, this hotel is just a short walk from London Bridge Station and within easy reach of iconic venues like The Shard, Borough Market, and Tower Bridge. Each apartment feels more like home than hotel, with full kitchens, comfy lounges, and sleek contemporary design.

Whether you're in town for a weekend gig or making a music-filled trip of it, this spot blends comfort, convenience, and a laid-back local vibe.

Why Concert-goers love it

Being just 10–15 minutes on foot from major stations and iconic venues makes this a smart base for music lovers. The apartments are tucked away enough to offer a peaceful night’s sleep after the show — with soundproofing that gets frequent praise. The 24-hour reception means late-night returns are no problem, and flexible spaces mean you can kick back with your crew or solo post-show. Plus, with late check-out at 12:00 PM, you don’t have to rush out the door the next morning.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends who want to stay together and save on food with a full kitchen
- Solo travelers checking off a bucket-list gig
- Couples making a weekend getaway out of a concert night
- Fans seeking a quiet space to unwind after loud live sets
- Budget-conscious music lovers who want value and flexibility

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no full-service restaurant on-site, the fully equipped kitchens in each suite make it easy to prepare your own late-night snacks. For quick bites, the 24-hour Grab 'n Go Pantry has all the essentials. You’re also right on Bermondsey Street, known for its walkable cafes, pubs, and late-night eateries. Cooking your own breakfast after a night out? Totally doable here.

Nightlife Options

The hotel doesn’t host its own nightlife, but you're surrounded by some of South London’s trendiest spots. From craft beer pubs and cocktail lounges to live DJ sets and low-key wine bars, everything is within easy walking or cab distance. Plus, with London Bridge Station nearby, getting back late from a venue elsewhere in the city is simple.

What People Say

Guests rave about the clean, spacious apartments, with many praising the kitchens and laundry facilities as ideal for longer stays. The location gets top marks for being central yet quiet, and the staff are frequently described as helpful and friendly. Reviewers also love the modern design and comfort of the beds and lounges — perfect for winding down after a concert.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the lack of on-site dining means relying on takeaway or cooking. Others note that while the apartments are well-equipped, the decor is more functional than luxurious. Parking is available but off-site and can be a bit pricey.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers who want space, independence, and a great location near London’s top venues, Residence Inn by Marriott London Tower Bridge hits all the right notes.

Worst possible ever - Stay...

Liked: Transferred me to another hotel on day of trip without notice or options. The hotel I was transferred to had a room with no air conditioning ( property was Marriott London Bridge). Made me wait for an hour because I was early check in ( was expecting some flexibility since they didn’t exactly hold up their end of the bargain) It was very evident they were testing me out to see if I would take it. They finally moved me to a room which was what was expected in the first place but behaved as if they were doing me a favor. Looks like a scam that they run regularly. I have been in properties worldwide from multiple hotel chains. By far my worst experience ever

Great location. Would stay again...

Liked: Great location in Bermondsey.Had a family room with a separate sleeping area & kitchenette.Nice restaurant area & really convenient to local restaurants in a lovely area.Lovely pastries for breakfast.Staff helpful.Hotel set back from the street ,so no cars passing by.
Disliked: Not much room around the main bed in any direction - a bit cosy.Breakfast was very busy on one of two mornings so queuing for a table and had to ask for cutlery, plates etc as rather hectic. Breakfast area layout for cooked breakfast rather awkward as area a bit compact.Bathroom small.

The hotel is up there...

Liked: The unit was very well equipped in the kitchen area if you had wanted to cook. Bathroom small but nice. It was good to have a comfortable couch to relax on as well. We liked the room and the separated bedroom. Location was a good walk to the tube but locally there were plenty of restaurants and a small Waitrose not too far away. Generally the location felt nice and safe. Breakfast was nice and there was an indication of busy times published so you could avoid queues in the breakfast room. Staff at breakfast were lovely. I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: The Heat pump/ air conditioning unit was very noisy and it would be too noisy to use at night and even in the daytime. really. It was annoying. Not sure if this was just in our room and luckily we didn't have to use it The hotel gave us a small heater just in case we were cold.

Simply great stay!

Liked: Residence Inn London Tower Bridge is simply a lovely hotel! Everything was as it should be. Seamless and friendly check-in. Amazing, clean and comfortable room, tasty and plentiful breakfast and great location (10 minutes walk from Tower Bridge underground). Not to mention great price. Also special mention to Keerthi and Srathy - both were very friendly, helpful and professional and made our stay even more comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing.

It was ok but we...

Liked: The hotel was close to Tower Bridge. Most parts of the city were relatively easy to reach by public transport. The room was clean.
Disliked: This hotel feels much more like a 3-star than a 4-star. Our room was extremely small. We were three people, including our 10-year-old daughter, and the sofa bed in the living area made the space even more cramped. The ceiling was very low — I could touch it without stretching (I’m 180 cm tall). The bed was too soft for my taste. There was very little storage space, especially for three people. The bathroom was so tiny, it felt like we were on a ship.Breakfast was not very generous. Scrambled eggs were offered only once, and they were inedible. One day there was no butter, and on another day there were no napkins — they handed out torn pieces of paper towel instead.
