Superb

Liked: Loved the size of the room. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: Front desk staff was not friendly or welcoming at check-in. We had to go down to request bedding for the sofa bed, and employee was almost rude with having to handle the inconvenience. Check-out employee was very kind.

Liked: It was the right hotel in the wrong city. Such a frustrating thing to experience. All Bookings.com's fault
Disliked: This is a complaint about Bookings.com.I booked the Marriott Lafayette in Lafayette, Lousiana and they booked me in at a hotel in Indiana. Bookings.com does NOT tell you on your reservation the state or city you are booked in when they send you your congratulations ....you are going to Lafayette so I never suspected we were going to the wrong Lafayette. Me being naive, I just assumed I was going to Lafayette, Louisiana. This should be corrected! This left us in a terrible position where we had to rebook the day before the trip and we paid a hugely inflated rate. This was a special trip for my 90 year old mother-in-law so we paid the price - but yikes! $1200 for 3 nights!! Thankfully, when I called the Marriott in Indiana, she was kind enough to refund our payment to that hotel. But she did say that this happens all the time. Again, this means Bookings.com needs to fix there algorithm to tell you the city and state in their reservation notices.I'm pretty upset about it.

Amazing! Staff friendly and breakfast...

Liked: Very clean and modern decor. Rooms were large and the handicap room was very accommodating for my family with room to move around. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable beds I have ever had at a hotel. I slept so well and enjoyed our stay. Overall, an amazing and relaxing stay.
Disliked: Would have liked to stay another night but the rooms were all booked for college graduates’ families.

The pool was broken!!!

Liked: Room layout was weird also a tv for the bedroom area and a separate tv for the kitchen side would have been nice
Disliked: The pool was closed for repairs or upgrades either way would have been nice if I was contacted before my stay but I wasn’t. Property was nice, the staff was ok but they weren’t anything other than just average.
