Liked: I loved how clean and spacious the facility is! It was very welcoming to see my name on the television screen. It’s also very amazing that the room comes prepared with basic home things!
Disliked: Something I did not like was that the room television was not working. It seemed like it had some connection issues or something related but Netflix and YouTube were not working.

A very uncomfortable stay!

Liked: The only thing positive I really have to say about the location is the staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt bad for them because I think they were trying to do their best at a location that is obviously failing to live up to the Marriott standards.
Disliked: There were numerous problems with the location. My first, and biggest complaint, is that there was prostitution activity occurring at the hotel. We were in town for a high school barbecue competition, and there were numerous high schoolers who traveled to Kansas City for this event. The prostitution activity was blatantly visible and made the stay very uncomfortable. In addition, the odor of marijuana could be smelled throughout the hotel. I understand that it is legal in Kansas City, but people who don’t smoke marijuana do not want to smell it in their hotel rooms. The breakfast had limited options and wasn’t of the greatest quality. Our room, although clean, was starting to wear out and needed to be updated. The bathtub was so worn that the enamel had come off and the bottom was starting to rust. There were also other maintenance issues with exterior doors at various parts of the facility.
