Great hotel, but does charge...

Liked: The room was super clean and has been well maintained.
Disliked: $12 per day extra just to park. I wish we had known this ahead of time.

Liked: The breakfast was okay. Had to wait for food to be refilled. The location was perfect for the reason of traveling. I also like the space of the room.
Disliked: The elevator wasn't working and my 73 year old dad had to take the stairs. There was water in the carpet saturated on the floor by the exit.

4th of July Weekend

Liked: The hotel was really close to the water park we arrived in town to visit-Hurricane Habor. Different restaurants nearby a plus as well.. Great location. 2 bedroom suite, roomy and clean upon arrival.
Disliked: Upon arrival the front desk clerk was not friendly. I paid before arrival. The clerk informed me she had no CC info on file for me. Became a big ordeal. Manager had to be called, booking had to be called, Line became long. It was a mess. We were tired from the 6 hour drive. I thought I was making check-in easier and faster but it became a huge mess. Apparently, if you select pay at the property during the initial booking, but decides to pay before arrival- morning of, the clerks do not have access to that part of the system to confirm payment. Only the managers. What disappointed me the most. After showing the clerk my confirmation of payment and providing proof of payment from my bank account. She still was not interested in looking into the issue farther. I had to be demanding. I was not about to pay for the stay twice. After contacting booking and booking contacting property. Clerk was forced to call manager. Manager had the confirmation in the email. Finally got checked-in after 30-45 minutes. Property should give email access to everyone working the front desk. My room did not get service. We had to keep asking for towels and they was getting frustrated because we kept asking for them. The room was hot at night time for whatever reason.My experience wasn't as great as the first time my family and I stayed.

Great location

Liked: The location was great. Near all the places my family wanted to visit.
Disliked: Our room bathroom wasn't very clean. I had to buy cleaning items to re-clean our entire room. The mattresses are very worn & need to be thrown out. The property wasn't clean even on the outside. Trash was everywhere. The pool had trash I believe was blown in by high wind so I took the net and cleaned it out myself. Pool towels were not re-freshed.
