Good - pleasant staff. Bad...

Liked: I appreciated the dish soap and plates/cups in the kitchen. The air conditioner worked well. The staff were very pleasant.
Disliked: The hot breakfast was disgusting. I had to wait for coffee to be made almost every morning. A guest on my floor had a dog, which barked constantly. I was disappointed that the pool was closed. I had done extensive research before my trip and chose this hotel because of its outdoor pool. With it being closed, I would not have chosen it. The carpets are old, fraying, and look filthy, especially on the stairs. It just isn't a pleasant feature at all.

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: Probably the worst Marriott property I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel had a bad odor, the wallpaper is falling apart, we had a crack in one of the room doors, crayon from a previous guest on everything (including the television), the table could barely support our food.

Pool closed in June, hot...

Liked: Breakfast was ok except some of the items (eggs in particular) had obviously been sitting/heating a long time, tasted really awful. Other items (e.g., crockpot with chilis) were cold - never turned on for breakfast.
Disliked: Website pictures totally misrepresent pool/hot tub availability. The pool is "closed for upgrade" (in June, no less) according to staff. It looks like it has been closed a very long time. Also, the hot tub in the picture no longer exists, and according to staff it was permanently removed years ago. Very deceptive if pool and/or tub are important features. Will def not stay here again.
