Repos & Manna Downtown Montréal is a warm and welcoming 3-star bed and breakfast nestled in the heart of downtown, just a short walk from some of Montréal’s most iconic music venues. With its mix of homey comfort and boutique charm, this B&B offers air-conditioned rooms, free WiFi, and a peaceful garden terrace—perfect for relaxing after a night out.
Less than a 15-minute stroll from the Bell Centre, this spot is a favorite for fans looking to catch a show without worrying about late-night transport. The quiet residential setting offers a peaceful retreat after the energy of a live concert. With check-in starting at 15:00 and check-out at 11:00, there’s enough flexibility for late-night arrivals or a slow morning after the gig.
Start your day with fresh croissants, pancakes, or fruit from the à la carte and continental breakfast served daily. While there’s no full restaurant on-site, there is a cozy coffee shop for a quick caffeine fix before heading out. The surrounding area is packed with walkable dining options perfect for a pre-show bite or post-concert snack.
Though there’s no bar directly on-site, you’re within walking distance of Montréal’s vibrant nightlife scene—think cocktail lounges, live music bars, and local pubs. Whether you're looking to keep the night going or wind down with a quiet drink, the neighborhood delivers.
While the B&B charm is a highlight, travelers looking for luxury amenities like a gym or full-service restaurant may need to look elsewhere. Some rooms may not have a view, so if that matters to you, be sure to request one with a garden-facing patio.
Repos & Manna Downtown Montréal is a cozy, budget-friendly base for concert-goers who want comfort, location, and a peaceful place to crash after the encore.

Very disappointed, absolute rip off
Disliked: When booking this B&B I was swayed by the reviews and my past experience with B&B’s around the world. But boy, was I disappointed. B&B is in residential area in the old two storey townhouse, about 40 minutes walking distance to downtown Montreal. Tony, who runs the place also lives there and the place is mess. Walking into the living room, as you enter the B&B, was like walking into the storage room, so much stuff it was overwhelming. The next shock was when I got my room, it was in the basement, next to garage (or it was converted garage, who knows) and laundry room. Room had low ceiling, and was cramped with old furniture form times of Maria Thereza. About 20 hooks on the wall with the wire coat hangers made it feel like changeroom of 5th division football team. Four old lamps, one turning on and off by itself, which I had to unplug. Old air condition unit, that remembers Edison, placed in the small window opening, supporting on two timber offcuts, its electrical cord taped up. Aircon was producing light show, sparks occasionally lit up the room. I had to turn it off as I didn’t want to burn down in this dungeon. Room had own bathroom, sink area was so small that I had to back out, since if I turned I’d hit the paper towel dispenser, even thou right beneath it was a hand towel rack. In the morning I’d be woken up by the guests above, rattling with the chairs in the kitchen and walking up and down the timber floor. There was no natural light in the room whole day. The basement was not meant to be lived in!I hoped my next day would be improved by delicious breakfast everybody was raving about in the reviews. The host, claiming to be a chef, served me a burnt out omelette, with slices of white sandwich toast and the fruit compote with drowned half of banana. Omelette had traces of vegetable, so miniscule I couldn’t tell what it was.

Superb
Liked: The place is well situated with metro nearby. quite and nice neighbourhood. I have the room in the basement, but with own shower and toilet. Overall very limited daylight, but cool and cosy while it was super hot outside. So not much to complain about. The owner, Tony, was super friendly and considerate, and gave a lot of helpful recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. I had very nice chats with him. Breakfast was really good and different every day.

10 out of 5 place!!!
Liked: Breakfasts were well crafted, nutritious, tasty and beautiful. Chef Tony also shared so many interesting stories while we were at the table and made everybody become friends. If he prepares pancakes the morning you stay, you're lucky. Every little thing in this place has a story and Tony will definitely make your visit an unforgettable one. He started with a mini travel tour to Montreal and ended with warm messages to our family. What a great experience! I'll definitely come back to this location if I'm ever in town again.
Disliked: It's not a hotel so the room felt a little small for four of us. Plus air conditioning was not up to 'American' standard - I guess it was because our room was on the street side getting all the sunlight and we are a group of 4. Since they have other rooms, we'll try some different rooms next time.

That Breakfast Club is simply...
Liked: Tony is simply an amazing host. He takes time when you get in to explain Montreal in a (long) nutshell. Most of that fly over your head until later when for example you're enjoying the noodles at the recommended Star Noodles restaurant. But the most amazing thing about Tony's place is the breakfast - he makes effort to make some great food for everyone; then tops it by making the conversation at the table into simply the most awesome interaction. Simply great.
Disliked: Nothing really - its a shared facility after all.

Liked: Tony is an outstanding host and his helpfulness and advice about Montreal were invaluable. He also makes a wonderful breakfast! The area is also very nice, not as busy as the city centre but easy to reach by metro.
Disliked: Nothing

Great start for our Canada...
Liked: Very comfortable room. Great location, quiet neighborhood, but very close to the metro. Also very close to a nice playground. Tony prepared a different tasty breakfast every morning. He is a very friendly and attentive host. He gave us many good sightseeing tips and made our stay in Montreal even more enjoyable.
Disliked: It was not clear to us that the bathroom is shared with other guests. This wasn't a problem in practice, but it could be pointed out more clearly in the description.

I stayed in Repos &...
Liked: The room was tidy and comfortable. The host, Tony is very friendly and flexible. I felt very well taken care of. Each day Tony prepared a different breakfast, and takes into account the preferences of each guest. We had good conversations around the breakfast table with him and the other guests.
