Liked: Clean hotel, friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was great!
Disliked: Room decor was a bit tired and paint was peeling off around skylight.

LEFT AFTER ONE NIGHT EVEN...

Liked: WE BOOKED TO STAY FOR TWO NIGHTS BUT LEFT AFTER ONE NIGHT, THE BATHROOM WAS NOT VERY CLEAN AND WE WAS UNABLE TO SLEEP AS THE BEDS WERE NOT COMY AT ALL. THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND LOCATION BEAUTIFUL, JUST A SHAME THE ROOM LET THEM DOWN.

Disliked: Smokers in adjacent room, their smoke came through bathroom extractor vents leaving horrible stink. No coat hooks in room only coat hangers, not much use with wet coats

Pleasant

Liked: The hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great, next to the canal, a short walk into Skipton along the canal. Car parking facilities and the hotel allows access to facilities before check-in.
Disliked: The pool and hot tub were closed as the pool had too much chlorine, this was the main reason for booking the hotel so it was disappointing and somewhat spoiled the overall experience.

Ok for a short stay

Liked: Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, staff were friendly, the view over the canal was very pleasant and the breakfast room is very niceThe room was good, clean and large, bed was comfy
Disliked: The hotel is really nice from the outside but inside it is showing its age. Could do with a refreshment I found the hotel to be a bit impersonal and the staff were friendly but a little disinferested.
