Superb

Liked: Very good customer service. It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a wedding anniversary card. Details are so important to us.
Disliked: Parking space needs to be wider. My wife couldn't get into the car because of the parking space, being narrow.

I would go elsewhere, just...

Liked: It has great views and right on the canal. The swimming pool was a nice extra too. The restaurant and evening meal was brilliant, quality and taste was above my expectations.
Disliked: The rooms are very dated, damp/leaks that haven't been fixed properly. The bed, furniture, carpet etc is very dated and the bed even had massive coffee stains up the side. The bath had black mould and yellow staining and again very dated. It was a jacuzzi bath but it looked about 40 years old and like the jacuzzi in the leisure facilities probably didn't work. The breakfast was pretty awful, cold, over cooked, the scrambled eggs were soaked in butter and weird texture. And multiple plates and glasses dirty and well used.

Liked: Beautiful location on the canal, with a nice walk into Skipton or 5 min walk to a nice pub

It was passable and served...

Liked: Good selection of tea and biscuits in the room. Very spacious. Staff were very friendly. Good parking.
Disliked: Room 111 smelt of rotton eggs in the bathroom. There was a pipe coming from the sink into the ground and there was tissue stuffed around the pipe surrounding it. There were splash marks on the walls. A cup/plastic glass n the bathroom had toothpaste in the bottom of it. The extractor in the bathroom was very noisy. Mould around the bathroom.

Enjoyable stay and would not...

Liked: Lovely comfortable room with everything you needed. Very nice dining room overlooking the Canal. Food good. The grandchildren especially enjoyed the swimming pool.Pleasant ambience in the hotel all round with helpful polite and friendly staff. James the manager was very charming and welcoming.
Disliked: Nothing I did not like about the hotel.
