Had a great visit to Glendale! Staff was awesome and welcomed my kids and small dogs. Went to a hockey game right next door and had a wonderful time!

Great place to stay when...
Liked: We loved how close the Hotel was to the State Farm Stadium. We also loved the Hotel itself. Very clean & modern.
Disliked: We really liked everything about our stay.

Other than that it was...
Liked: I checked in, went to room,, I had a king bed but I booked a room with two queens. Hotel staff stated booking.com sent them the king bed room. Had to get a very uncomfortable roll away bed. Hotel was 100% booked so they couldn’t/wouldn’t change my room
Disliked: I like the room just the sleeping situation.

Great location but limiting access...
Liked: It’s situated near a lot of restaurants and entertainment.
Disliked: They don’t clean the rooms properly. We had someone’sToenail clippings all over the carpet by my bed and a gunked up false eyelash on my kids bed.On one of the hottest days they closed the pool for a staff party without informing guests that they wouldn’t have access, when I asked about it I was spoken to rudely by the front desk. It’s woefully understaffed. Waiting 30 or 45min in an empty bar or restaurant for service where they each only have one server. It’s a conference centric hotel, when we arrived on Saturday the place was packed as it had a comic convention and body builder competition going on.” That died down to virtually empty by Monday. For the price in what should be the off season - you’d expect a lot more.

Good
Liked: Location and great condition of hotel
Disliked: The smoke detector incident that caused an evacuation of the building. Unfortunately, staff were either unavailable to help with the evacuation or had left first. This left the guests without direction and communication. I suggest that management begin having fire drills and work with the local fire marshal to fill in the gaps. Life safety should always be a priority in an occupied building where guests stay overnight.
