The location was very easy to find and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The concierge went out of his way to know our names, was so friendly to our children and made sure that we had our complimentary ( what? wow!) cookies and milk when we returned for the day. The lobby fireplace was a warm and comfortable spot to rest after a long day. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable. We ordered room service for breakfast and the service was tremendous. Thank you for making our stay memorable. We WILL be back.

Great location, comfy modern room
Liked: Excellent location, nice, helpful and welcoming staffs. In the historical center and walking distance to most of the places to see in Philly. I liked the fact it?s less popular than Kimpton (next door) on instagram then the lobby was much less packed. Lot of usb ports in room to charge anything. Small night light in bathroom. Very comfy towels. The bed was really good, or at least i was so tired walking that it felt excellent.
Disliked: The swimming pool in the basement did not look so clean. That?s it, the rest was nice. Sorry, din take any pic.

Great location and friendly staff
Liked: Location is great, staff very attentive and the size of the room is spacious
Disliked: The mattress of the bed is too soft, the shower is not comfortable and the textile of the sofa in the room needs to be replaced.

I would stay there again,...
Liked: The rooms are very quiet, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The heating/AC is adjustable and made for a very comfortable environment. Chez Ben had very good food. It is situated in a very desirable location.
Disliked: We thought that the new decor is too edgy, funky and modern for us. Something needs to be done at the entrance where, in March, it let in too much cold air, making the whole lobby and bar and restaurant too cold. We also thought that the staff should be dressed in something more identifiable than their own street clothes. Dark suits would be appropriate.
