Liked: Corner room was nice.
Disliked: They totally messed up on the reservation I had booked for my physician. Luckily there was a room available but not what I had originally booked. The bed was a double instead of a king. It took him over an hour to get everything straightened out with the front desk which made him late for his meeting. We will not be using this hotel in the future.

Liked: The service was great. We asked for a King room, unfortunately one was not available, but the clerk gave as a restaurant credit and a 2 hour late check out. She was great! Also, the doorman was incredibly helpful with just about everything!

Liked: Nice lobby. Fairly friendly staff.
Disliked: Bathroom wallpaper peeling and worn. Shelf in bathroom with the glasses and such was dusty, hadn't been wiped down in a while. Was put on hold on the phone for the restaurant for 8 minutes and finally had to go down to order and the phone receiver was still off the cradle waiting for someone to come back on the line to speak to me.

Nice stay in New Orleans
Liked: We spent two nights in this hotel. The hotel is easy to reach by car and is in walking distance from the French Quartier and the main attractions of the city, while keeping you away from the loudness of those areas - which I prefer, at night... unless you have noisy neighbors next-door.
The staff is friendly and I particularly appreciate their offer at check-in to give us a larger room than the one we reserved, as they considered it too small for a couple; the upgrade came at no charge, and we have been very happy with the room that we had: it was bright and both bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Disliked: Breakfast was not included, but there is a corner on the ground floor which sells coffee and pastries; if you have time, I would recommend to have breakfast elsewhere, especially because the staff was unfriendly and annoyed while serving customers - which to me appeared highly contrasting with the hotel staff attitude and policy. Valet parking is also very expensive, so I would recommend to go to a public parking one block farther, which is much cheaper. One night it has been hard to fall asleep because women from the room next-door made a lot of noise from midnight (when they were back to their room) till around 2:30am. They also checked out very early in the morning (around 5:30am), as we could hear from the noise they made while leaving the room, with no respect for their neighbors. It might be a coincidence, but our friends (whose room was at another floor) had a similar experience the night before...
