The Spotlight on Renaissance by Marriott Las Vegas Hotel

Retro Style Meets Strip Convenience

Modern, retro-inspired, and just four blocks from the Las Vegas Strip, the Renaissance by Marriott Las Vegas Hotel offers a stylish escape from the buzz of the casinos while staying close to all the action. With sleek marble bathrooms, large SmarTVs, and hip décor, it’s a cool and comfortable base for concert-goers wanting a little extra flair.
Located right next to the Convention Center and the Las Vegas Monorail, getting to and from shows is quick and easy, while the on-site dining and relaxing pool make it easy to recharge between sets.

Why Concert-goers love it

Staying here means you’re just a short ride or even a walk from major concert venues along the Strip. With the Las Vegas Monorail station right next door, late-night transport is a breeze—even after encore performances. Despite the proximity to nightlife, the hotel itself is a non-gaming property, offering a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere to wind down in. Plus, the 12:00 PM checkout means you can sleep in after a late night.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish space close to the action
  • Solo travelers heading to a once-in-a-lifetime show
  • Couples making a weekend of music and fun
  • Fans wanting quiet after the crowd fades
  • Budget-conscious music lovers seeking value in a four-star setting

Food and Drink Options

Fuel up before the show or wind down after at one of the hotel’s three on-site restaurants. ENVY The Steakhouse serves upscale dinners and is known for its award-winning wine list. Grill 55 offers casual comfort food and cocktails—perfect for a post-concert bite. For something lighter or a post-show pick-me-up, Ego Café serves Starbucks and light bites. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the range of on-site options covers most cravings, and breakfast is available if you're not an early riser.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself is more laid-back than party-centric, you’re just minutes from the Strip’s live music lounges, rooftop bars, and buzzing clubs. Want something more low-key? Grill 55’s cocktails and casual vibe make for a great place to unwind without leaving the hotel.

What People Say

Guests love the clean, modern rooms and the quiet atmosphere away from the casino chaos. The location gets high marks for being close to both the Strip and the monorail, making it easy to explore the city and get to concerts. Many reviewers also appreciate the friendly staff and the value for money compared to other Vegas hotels.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the hotel can feel a bit quieter than expected for Vegas—great for sleeping, but not the place if you want to keep the party going all night. Also, while the hotel offers great food, 24/7 room service isn’t available, which might be a downside for very late-night cravings.

The Bottom Line

If you're looking for a stylish, quiet place to crash after a show—just minutes from the Strip and connected by Monorail—the Renaissance by Marriott Las Vegas Hotel is a concert-goer’s hidden gem.

Great location and staff

Liked: Location, staff were amazing, well cared for lobby and bar, clean. No casino, smoke or crowds. The monorail came right to a stop out front so you could go up the strip if you wanted to.
Disliked: Hallways and rooms showed some wear and tear that could be easily addressed. Warm water took forever to get to the rooms far from the elevators. On site restaurant looked good but was very expensive and the only real food on the property with little within walking distance.

Comfortable. Overpriced. Worth to stay...

Liked: Delicious breakfast.Clean, comfortable room.Facilities.
Disliked: Lots of hidden fees: parking, city tax.The breakfast voucher does not cover a breakfast: you still need to pay $15-$20, and that is for a very basic breakfast.

Room With Great Strip View...

Liked: No casino so was quiet and didn't smell of smoke. Room was cleaned and serviced daily. Right next to the Convention Center and had its own Monorail station to move along the strip quickly. We had a strip view room which could see all the bright lights, sphere, and high roller at night. Room came with a refrigerator.
Disliked: Room was cleaned every day but it was just late in the day. No gift shop or shop for quick snacks and drinks. Their cafe/Starbucks closes at 2pm. Room, resort fees, and taxes were all paid for 2 days prior by Booking.com and still had my credit card charged half the amount by the hotel because Booking hadn't presented the payment to the hotel, so didn't care for that extra charge to be credited back after the stay. Room did not have a microwave after requesting one.
