I won't return if I can help it.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Smelly; makeup and hair on pillows; lack of control of guests; didn't recieve rooms requested.

Nice hotel but a few...

Liked: It was in a lovely heritage building. The rooms were a good size and the bathroom whilst small were good.
Disliked: Our room was cleaned very randomly. Although we slept in most days as we were out at the Knoxville nationals late most nights, our room was only done a couple of times. We were there for 6 nights.

Excellent.

Liked: The waitstaff in both the restaurant and bar, as well as the bartenders, were friendly and most professional.
Disliked: Nothing

Left out in the rain

Disliked: The hotel on booking.com was pet friendly, but when we checked in, we where told it was not pet friendly. Had to find another hotel late at night with family and a pet in Des Moines IA. Not happy.

Great location for Civic Center...

Liked: The Hotel was two blocks from the Civic Center, where we attended the IHSMTA Performance. It was great to be able to walk to the hotel after. The room was quiet, beds comfortable. For breakfast, we ordered off the breakfast menu. I had Eggs Benedict, The egg was poached to perfection. I wasn't a fan of the fried potatos, ( deep fried), but the rest was very good.
