Stylish Comfort Close to the Dallas Music Scene

Modern and comfortable, the Renaissance Dallas North Hotel offers a relaxed yet upscale stay just minutes from some of Dallas’s most popular concert venues. Located conveniently off the LBJ Freeway, it’s a great base for music fans looking to experience the city without sacrificing comfort. With sleek rooms, a 24/7 front desk, and pet-friendly accommodations, this hotel blends convenience with a touch of luxury.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is key, and this hotel is just a short drive (around 4 miles) from the Toyota Music Factory — making it a smart pick for those attending shows there. Need to recover after the encore? The area is quieter than downtown, ideal for a peaceful post-show wind down. With flexible check-in at 3:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM, you can sleep in after a late night. Plus, being only 6 miles from Love Field Airport makes getting in and out of town a breeze.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish base near concert venues
  • Solo travelers chasing their favorite artists
  • Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
  • Fans who want a quieter place to recover after a loud night
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want upscale touches

Food and Drink Options

The hotel features an on-site restaurant for easy dining and offers options suitable for late arrivals. While 24/7 room service isn't listed, the front desk is staffed around the clock and can assist with local recommendations. After a late-night show, there's a good chance you can still find something satisfying nearby — and breakfast is available the next morning to help you recharge.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn’t have live music, it’s close to several nightlife spots and live music venues. Whether you're looking to keep the night going or wind down with a drink, you'll find nearby bars and lounges just a quick drive or rideshare away. The on-site bar also serves up relaxed vibes and craft drinks perfect for a nightcap.

What People Say

Guests love the friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and the convenient location for both the airport and local events. Many reviewers mention the comfortable beds and quiet nights, especially after a high-energy concert. The hotel is often praised for its value and modern feel.

Areas for Improvement

While most guests enjoy their stay, a few note that the immediate area is more commercial than scenic — so don’t expect to walk to trendy coffee shops or boutiques. Some reviewers wish for more dining options within walking distance, but quick rideshare solves that.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers looking for a stylish, quiet, and well-located hotel in Dallas with easy access to music venues, the Renaissance Dallas North Hotel hits the right notes.

Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Audrey, Ft Worth, visiting The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory

Liked: Location to the concert venue and the welcome cookies and fruit. The beds were incredible.
Disliked: The price I paid and the breakfast buffet was not included. I got cold coffee and lukewarm eggs then to top it off the pool and Jacuzzi was closed for remodeling - one of the main attractions we were looking forward to.

What were we thinking, never...

Liked: Chyna on front desk was professional and accommodating. The lobby looks impressive on entry with nice couches to relax on, and it was handy having a mini Coffee bar offering Starbucks downstairs.
Disliked: Seeing a small but obvious blood stain on our sheet, which wasn't changed even on request.Discovering previous guests hairs rolling around on the bathroom floor , and grotty marks that could have been cleaned off.The presence of several small cockroaches that arrived several days apart. The safe in our room didn't work, we believed it simply needed new batteries and requested these twice. The toilet roll holder fell off when touched. Barely held on attached to a plaster wall not a wall stud. The maintenance person and housekeeping person entered our room when we had gone out, even though our do not disturb sign was up, and we specifically stated for then to try the next day as we had left out personal items..The shower label was not attached leading to several accidental hot bursts as shower head could not be directed to the wall for safety. Lastly, if you are a tea drinker, you'll be disappointed unless you plan ahead.

Didn’t get what I paid...

Liked: The staff.
Disliked: Paid $393 for a large room and 2 queen beds. Received a small room with one king bed for two adults and two small children. This is the second time I have not received what I paid for . It has not been the same since it changed from the Omni to the Renaissance.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

It's okay but not at...

Liked: Parking was easy and plentiful. The location is good. The place is generally clean and tidy. There is a nice walking park across the street.
Disliked: They put me on a floor overlooking the rooftop of the 1at floor with two large flood lights so at night had to keep curtains completely closed - the unaesthetic roof was not nice to look out on. The bathroom is rather small. When I took a shower, the shower curtain didn't keep water in the tub area so there was always water on the floor after a shower. The toilet didn't have good water pressure so the toilet didn't always flush all the way after going. Then when I placed my laptop in the room safe, the safe wouldn't open back up. I called service and it took them several hours to get the safe open (they didn't know where the "key" to manually unlock the room safe was according to the facilities person).

Liked: CHECK IN WAS EASY THE ROOM WAS NICE TILL THE A/C went out. I loved the fruit water.
Disliked: Didnt like that the A/C went out and that the food doesnt have any seasoning to it. And there is no dog bags or trash pooh boxes around the property. I didnt like how dirty the pool was.

Good

Liked: Room is spacious, and beds are comfortable. Other front desk staff (other than Crystal) was professional and promptness to customer need.
Disliked: Bad experience with Crystal (front desk) “She was rude to hang up the phone on us” while we told her that our reservation was changed without our consent. She made us spent an hour with booking.com about this.Room 717: drain was clogged and toilet flush failed to work properly.
