The location was very easy to find and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The concierge went out of his way to know our names, was so friendly to our children and made sure that we had our complimentary ( what? wow!) cookies and milk when we returned for the day. The lobby fireplace was a warm and comfortable spot to rest after a long day. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable. We ordered room service for breakfast and the service was tremendous. Thank you for making our stay memorable. We WILL be back.

Liked: The hotel was in the heart of all the historical buildings..
Disliked: The room had worn out furniture.. Look like it was bought at a tag sale. The chase lounge had dog hair on it, faded.. No microwave to heat food.

Great hotel in a good...

Liked: The room was very spacious and had just the view we were looking for. We were allowed early check-in and really appreciated the late check out time of noon. Clean and comfortable. Room included a mini fridge which we took advantage of. Appreciated the friendly and prompt room service but wouldn’t eat there again. Dinner was not enjoyable and breakfast wasn’t good either. How can you mess up poached eggs? We will definitely return but we’ll arrange for food outside the hotel.
Disliked: The food! While the menu looked interesting, the food we ordered was not good.

Disliked: Dining staff was very nice which is half the battle but very forgetful and seemed to lack training. It was a little annoying when they would forget the same things 3 days in a row. like a spoon, toast, butter, meat on the side and when you reminded them they forgot again.
