The Spotlight on Renaissance by Marriott Nashville Hotel

Stylish Comfort Steps from Nashville’s Top Music Venues

Modern and welcoming, the Renaissance by Marriott Nashville Hotel puts you in the heart of downtown Nashville—just a short walk from major concert spots like Bridgestone Arena and Nissan Stadium. With sleek rooms featuring streaming-enabled TVs, an indoor pool, and 24-hour fitness center, this hotel blends comfort with convenience for music fans on the move.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re just a 5-minute walk from Nashville’s biggest venues, so getting to your show couldn’t be easier—even if you’re running late. After the encore, you’re close enough to stroll back without worrying about rideshares or traffic. The lobby bistro stays lively post-show, and thanks to late check-in (from 4 PM) and a quiet in-room vibe, you’ll have no problem winding down. Plus, friendly concierge service means you can get last-minute venue info or local tips with ease.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends looking for a central base
Solo travelers catching a dream concert
Couples making a weekend out of it
Fans wanting a quieter recovery space after a loud night
Budget-conscious music lovers who still want upscale comfort

Food and Drink Options

You won’t go hungry here. The on-site American restaurant serves lunch and dinner, and there’s a lively bistro lounge with signature cocktails and 8 TVs—perfect for post-concert hangs. Breakfast is available (buffet-style) for those who like to sleep in after a late night. While there’s no 24-hour room service, the in-room fridge and coffee setup make it easy to refuel at any hour.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel doesn’t have live music on-site, you’re surrounded by downtown Nashville’s legendary nightlife. Bars, honky-tonks, and music lounges are all a short walk away. The hotel’s chill bistro bar is a solid option for winding down with a local craft cocktail.

What People Say

Guests rave about the hotel’s location—you’re right in the heart of the action. Reviewers also love the friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and the ease of getting to and from concerts. Many mention how quiet the rooms are despite the central location, making it easy to recharge after a big night.

Areas for Improvement

Parking can be pricey and busy during peak times, so consider skipping the car if you can. Some guests found the in-room lighting a bit dim, but noted it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Late-night food options could be more plentiful, but downtown eateries nearby help fill the gap.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers who want to be close to the music, comfy after the encore, and right in the heart of Nashville, the Renaissance by Marriott Nashville Hotel hits all the right notes.

Great location, clean, friendly, great...

Liked: Close to Broadway, there’s a bridge to the town “food court” and we walked everywhere. It was clean, staff were friendly, lots of elevators so no wait and we were on 18! And there were tons of lounge couches inside, and the gym was great.
Disliked: The parking deck was closed due to a recent fire, but there was a close garage if you don’t mind a short walk. The pool was inside and the outside deck was surrounded by parking garage so no views and not a great place for relaxing outside. Breakfast was expensive.

Good

Liked: Location was GREAT! Right off of Downtown Broadway.
Disliked: Service at the bar was horrible. Bartender was no were to be found and then came back smelling like weed. I only had one drink. Would have had another one but my glass sat empty for 15 minutes.

Your paying for Location.

Liked: We always like staying here as the location is excellent, and the Staff is always helpful. The rooms are always clean and everything we need works.
Disliked: I feel like it's getting overpriced for what it is. We want some food, so we went to the little store. We got two sandwiches, a salad, a brownie, and two bottles of soda; it was $78.00. A plain Black coffee was almost 7 dollars. As nothing in the Food court is open before 9 am or after 11 pm
