Renaissance by Marriott Meadowlands Hotel

It was okay.

Liked: It was a decent property. Not the best but decent
Disliked: The price is way too high considering where it’s placed and the amount of mistakes made. While it’s a decent hotel the Cody was wayyyy too high. I was put in the wrong room and had to switch rooms on my 2nd day. I was charged extra fees even though I was advised I wouldn’t be. Tough first time stay.

Disliked: The bed was really uncomfortable, the blanket was very thin (almost like a sheet), we got very cold at night. We're group of four, booked in two double queen bedroom. There's only one bedside table/charging stand in between very inconvenient. Water pressure in the shower was extremely weak, you feel like having a cold shower every morning. Lastly, the celling in the bedroom corner (next to the shower) was peeling, and you're facing it every night when you sleep. Two nights in a row I was having a headache while sleeping there.

Liked: The hotel staff were all very nice beginning with the front desk at check-in and the VIP loung staff - Gloria was wonderful. The room was clean and the view was beautiful!
Disliked: Parking should be offered for free since it is an outdoor parking lot and not an indoor parking lot.

Wonderful experience

Liked: The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was clean. We saw a comedy show there the night of our stay, it was nice to be able to see the show have a couple drinks at the bar after.

Liked: This is the second stay but again the stuff is very arrogant and rude. So nothing to say good!
Disliked: The stuff and specially the receptionist one who checked us in she had asked us to leave the property because we needed king room. They sent us 2 times to a wrong room which had to be Kong but it was double. The room door is also not closing properly and 2nd day when we arrived the door was open. Never stay there again
