Renaissance by Marriott Baltimore Harborplace Hotel

Beautiful hotel; front desk staff was very efficient when checking in a long line of customers. Room was comfortable and clean. Great location! Easy access to alot of local entertainment, stores, eateries, etc. Great experience for our first stay at this hotel. Would highly recommend.

Disliked: Nothing.

Con - I requested, reserved and paid for a club room through ConcertHotels, but when I got to the front desk the staff had no knowledge of the premium request (lack of proper communication between ConcertHotels and the Renaissance). The front desk staff was able to accommodate the request however once I showed my itinerary. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally professional and helpful. The location can't be beat. Valet parking as mentioned earlier is expensive, but there are nearby self-parking alternatives which are much less expensive if you don't mind parking your own car.

Disliked: Miscommunication between ConcertHotels and Renaissance.

Disliked: Found a blood spot on one of our 'clean' towels. Club Lounge has odd hours and is closed on the weekends so we didn't get to utilize it.

Disliked: Love that it had washer drier facilities but I don’t think those rooms are ever cleaned as the bin stunk and floor was very dirty. Should also provide a folding table because it’s quite annoying having no where to put your clothes while trying to take them out of the machines and you will end up dropping them on the dirty floor Also not sure why this hotel doesn’t offer free WiFi? You have to sign up for a membership to get it and I had to fill out the forms twice and was still charged for WiFi.

Renaissance Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD

Liked: The location was fantastic! The hotel is decorated nicely and the beds are comfortable. They were very accommodating. The check in line was very long and they started giving people bottles of water and then brought out a few tables. The one table had someone doing free tequila tasting and the other one had free blueberry lemonade and either goldfish crackers or pretzels. It kept people from getting upset. A smart move by the manager.
Disliked: Two of the 4 elevators that take you to the rooms were broken for about 36 hours of our stay and still not fixed when we left. It made it difficult to get your luggage downstairs especially if your room was on a high floor like ours.

Exceptional
