Not a good option

Liked: The room size
Disliked: Our room was in the building next to the reception. The hallway smelled bad, like food. There were dishes on the hallway floor. They should clear them away and open the doors to air them out. The shower screen had stains from other people who had been there before, and the curtains on the windows were torn.

Perfect stay, definitely recommend

Liked: Very welcoming, friendly, spotlessly clean, good parking spaces and the breakfast was very tasty , will definitely be back in October when our son is back in uni. Perfect all round, thank you

Very good

Excellent hotel with lovely staff

Liked: Staff at reception Dewa was fantastic! Room was spacious with a large bathroom. Breakfast delicious and never run out of anything. Garden was lovely. Location excellent, very quiet with frequent buses to central Oxford and to Blenheim palace (we went to The Corrs concert there). Summertown with restaurants and shops less than 10 minutes walking.
Disliked: water in the shower was hard to set

Perfect getaway in Oxford

Liked: Very good location (bus stop is right there), delicious breakfast, polite staff, comfortable rooms. Definitely recommend.

Thoroughly recommend staying here

Liked: I think it is family run. The gentleman at the reception desk was extremely helpful, explained in detail how to get to my conference. Breakfast is in a lovely room, overlooking the garden. Weather was very hot, had access to the garden. Room was in a quiet part of the hotel, as requested. Room facilities included coffee making and biscuits,as well as shower toiletries. Breakfast was excellent - customer focused service, a selection of hot and cold food. Would thoroughly recommend.
Disliked: Had to ask for toilet roll as ran out.

The property, service, location and...

Liked: The property and location was everything I needed and expected. Additionally, the English breakfast buffet was even better quality than I expected. Outstanding!
Disliked: My room was very warm even with the fan on given there is no air conditioning and England was experiencing extremely hot temps.

Disappointing

Liked: The staff were extremely polite and as helpful as they could be. The help of the desk clerk's help was tempered by language difficulties. The dining area was bright and our room was small but adequate with access to a nice outside courtyard.
Disliked: On arrival, the Desk Clerk had difficulty with very slow computer software. Having checked in, there was a total lack of milk and tea in our room*. This was not corrected until the following day. Daily room maintanence/service was almost non-existant which the Desk Clerck put down to language difficulties with the chamber maid. Breakfast although plentifull was over cooked on both mornings. The single chair in our room had a distorted/weakened leg. The bathroom was not clean there being thick dust on some fittings and lime scale on others - also lime scale on the tiled floor. The toilet bowl was stained. The bathroom extractor fan was not working*. To generalise, our stay was spoilt by poor housing keeping, * indicates staff informed (no attempt to sort out fan)
