A traditional family run hotel...

Liked: The Remont hotel is very conveniently located close to the A40, and is on a main bus route which takes only 10 minutes to reach Oxford City centre. We parked (for free) at the hotel and then used the buses exclusively during our stay in Oxford. The room was comfortable with a good sized bathroom, the towels provided were large and fluffy. Breakfast was particularly good and substantial, with friendly service.
Disliked: It should be noted that the hotel is not air conditioned. It was 26C in Oxford during our visit and our room remained comfortable enough at night, but this might be a consideration for some guests at the height of summer.
