Beautiful setting poor room and...

Liked: The general surroundings of the hotel were beautiful and the common areas very agreeable and clean.
Disliked: The room was terrible! It is quite expensive for the value since it is nowhere and quite small. We faced the parking so that there is considerable noise from the street. You had to actually step into the shower in order to close or open the door to the bathroom. Other things were very poorly arranged. The stairs leading up to our room were very dangerous in the manner in which they were created. Details in the room are missing like a telephone with the explanation that everyone has a phone - I have never experienced that in a hotel with this kind of pricing. Very few television choices. Also the hotel boasts of a saune and steam both of which were NOT operable during our stay.

Liked: Everything, the location in Arbonne between the coast and the countryside, the basque style house, the pool, the attic room, the design of the common areas. A quiet and elegant place.

Liked: Amazing place and lovely staff, fabulous swimming pool and beautiful apartment. We loved our stay there!
Disliked: Nothing major but l think the flat needs more cooking dishes in the kitchen, and positioning of the dishwasher is unpractical. Also there should be a TV in the living room, not just in the bedroom.
